For this drop, we chose to shoot at the iconic Nude Bowl, a legendary skateboarding spot with a rich history. Located outside Desert Hot Springs, California, the Nude Bowl was once part of a naturist resort named "Desert Gardens Ranch." This abandoned kidney-shaped pool has seen its share of adventures and has become a symbol of rebellion and resilience.
From its beginnings as a skateboarding haven in the late 1970s to its turbulent days of large parties and eventual destruction in the 1990s, the Nude Bowl has always been a place for those who live on the edge. Despite numerous attempts to bury it, the pool has been resurrected by dedicated skateboarders who refuse to let it fade into obscurity. Today, it stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of those who dare to defy the odds.
